MTU MARINE
MTU has a long tradition in the development, manufacture and supply of marine engines, propulsion and automation systems. Our engines can be found on board of both large and small vessels around the globe.
When it comes to safety and environmental protection, the world's navies, coast guards, police forces and other authorities know no compromise. For these applications, MTU has developed clean, tailor-made propulsion systems that feature outstanding power density, low weight, shock-resistance, compact design, quiet running, quality, straightforward operation and low life-cycle costs.
The MTU product portfolio is supplemented by compatible automation software and hardware for controlling the propulsion system and other on-board functions.
MTU engines are also in service in marine passenger applications around the globe. They offer safe and economic operation as a result of their low weight and compact size, in addition to their high level of reliability and availability. This can be seen in Europe, Australia, North-America and Asia, for example, where the vast majority of hydrofoils and high-speed catamarans are powered by MTU engines.
MTU engines and automation systems have been providing the power for large numbers of harbor tugs, ferries, fishery protection vessels and other workboats for many years. This area of application places particularly heavy demands on propulsion systems, as the vessels must be capable of delivering full power for up to 24 hours a day. Reliability, rugged design, low fuel and oil consumption and straightforward maintenance are essential requirements - no matter how rough the sea, the wind and the weather conditions might be.
ZF MARINE
ZF is the world’s biggest gearbox manufacturer and we are honored to represent the Marine business of ZF in the Baltic States. Whether you operate a sailing yacht or a motorboat, a patrol craft or a tug, a navy vessel or a cargo ship – it doesn’t matter, as the likelihood of operating a ZF transmission or a propulsion system on board is more than high.
Pleasure craft

The ZF Marine product range for pleasure craft applications includes a wide variety of transmissions for engine outputs of up to 1,400 hp, for all installation configurations – vertical offset, down-angle, coaxial and V-drive.
While the mechanically operated “M”-series transmissions are typically installed in sailboats and river craft, the larger transmissions are primarily employed in various types of pleasure craft including ski-boats, sportfishing boats, cruisers and luxury motor yachts. A comprehensive range of 2-speed power-shift transmissions is on hand, when optimum acceleration, safety and manoeuvrability are determining factors.
Commercial Craft

ZF Marine transmissions, rated up to 14,000 kW, are available in many configurations. For all kinds of commercial vessels ZF provides a complete line of heavy-duty transmissions. Gearbox housings are extremely resistant to torsional stresses and are generously sized to safely transmit the thrust loads to the ship's foundation. Numerous ratios are available that perfectly match today's medium-speed diesel engines. For commercial, ocean-going vessels such as freighters and tankers, heavy-duty transmissions with various PTOs and PTIs can be chosen.
Large motor yachts, fast ferries and vessels for naval, customs and coastguard duties - all require compact, high performance transmissions, specially configured to meet designer’s requirements. Furnished with high-tensile aluminum alloy gear housings they can be rigged with optional equipment, monitoring systems etc. to comply with stringent environmental and technical specifications, where safety, availability and reliability are of utmost importance. Highest quality standards, intelligent design concepts and ease of maintenance ensure compliance with specified operating profiles at minimum downtime and life cycle cost.
Control Systems
ZF Marine’s propulsion control systems represent state-of-the-art in electronics technology. The products incorporate well-proven hardware and software to ensure reliability, easy operation and maintenance. From a comprehensive line of systems the optimum equipment can be chosen to specifically suit the type of vessel or application – single engine, multi-engine or multi-station.
MARINE GENSETS
Since our early days we have supplied our customers not only engines, gearboxes or propulsion packages, but also have also taken responsibility to provide electricity on board. Therefore we offer a wide range of marine generating sets to any power range requested.
Whether you are a workboat operator or building a superyacht, shipowner or a boatyard, regardless whether you need an auxiliary or emergency genset, or you have a diesel-electric propulsion in your mind we always have a solution for you. And if our standard product doesn’t fit your needs we will customise it.
PARTS AND SERVICES
