Order of Rolls-Royce US155FP azimuth thrusters

Baltic Marine Group AS has been awarded a repeat order of Rolls-Royce US155FP azimuth thrusters by Baltic Workboats Ltd.

These devices are to be fully compliant with Finnish-Swedish ice-class rules (1B) and will be installed on board of a 100m road ferry that Baltic Workboats builds for Swedish Traffic Authority.

Even though it's a repeat order and she's a 2nd vessel for the same customer the propulsion system of the new ferry will be completely different with diesel-electric propulsion already agreed and battery options currently being negotiated with the end-user
